    Health is Wealth

    Physical Health

"Health is not just an individual issue, it concerns the whole of society. Health is not everything, but without health everything is nothing. ”

Maintaining health and fighting disease is among the oldest human concerns.

In fact, the word health that evokes such a precious state to everyone appears frequently in everyday speech, almost never missing on the occasion of good wishes.

The letters of our Roman ancestors usually ended with the wish: Vale! (Be healthy!).

The ancients thought of the ideal of human perfection as a harmonious balance between intellectual and bodily faculties.

If the body is sick, the spirit loses its vigor. "A healthy organism is the guest room of the soul, a sick organism a prison" (Francis Bacon)

Our body is considered by Buddhists to be a jug in which the spirit dwells.

In all religions, the body is considered the abode of the soul, the bridge between the immortal soul and the transient physical reality.

Therefore, taking care of your health means worrying about how you gather your strength to fight disease.

According to the Latin saying mens sana in corpore sano, it is understood that the health of the body will be automatically reflected on the mind.

This is also true in the opposite direction: a healthy mind corresponds to a healthy body.

"... without health, nothing matters ..."

Here is an extremely real statement: we can have anything, but if we cannot fully enjoy what we have, life…. It would make sense to say, therefore, "Health, that it is better than all!" ? of course - we all say that! Then, if we say it, wouldn't it be appropriate to know what health really means?

The definition of the World Health Organization is: "Health is that perfect state of well-being in which an individual finds himself organically, spiritually and socially."

From other points of view, health is the state in which the human being functions optimally in all areas of his life, in which he feels truly happy and in which he moves towards achieving his maximum inner potential.

    Spiritual  Health:

For optimal functioning, happiness, and realization of can take place, it is necessary to have physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

    Physical Health:

Physical health means the proper functioning of the human body - the brain, all organs, systems - which leads to a state of vitality, inner strength, clarity of mind, attention, consciousness.

    Mental Health:

Mental health is the opening of the mind to all that is new and truly useful for creating a harmonious life.

It means openness to read, hear, see, discuss, understand, apply ideas, information that has proven effective over time or that has recently been discovered - all in order to continually improve one's self lives.

It means the ability to think, analyze, create, make the best rational decisions that lead to peace, contentment, and fulfillment.

Emotional health means good management of the internal states we go through every day, the emission to ourselves, and outside of the emotions considered positive.

This is very important, as it has a direct beneficial influence on physical health, as has already been shown.

It means, first of all, acceptance, care, understanding - to ourselves, first of all, and then to everything around us.

Spiritual health is a combination of the three types mentioned above and, in addition: the ability to propose and fulfill the highest goal of your life; understanding the nature of the inner and outer world (both yours and the environment in which you live); the ability to decipher and create, for you, the meaning of your own life; faith in God, as everyone understands it.

Health is the key factor in our true age, biological age. In reality, man has three ages: chronological age ("on the bulletin", the least important), biological age (which indicates the degree of functioning of his physiological systems: organs, glands, his systems) and psychological age (which indicates the subjective, personal experience of how young or old you feel).

You can be chronologically 40 years old, but your physical body should function biologically just like a 30-year-old person in good health.

Although health care is as old as the human condition, today we find that most of the time, health becomes important to us only when it is lacking.

We started to leave health on another level, in favor of obtaining other values: materials (movable property, real estate, etc.), professional recognition.

We work a lot, even a lot, we leave early in the morning and return home late in the evening.

Stress accumulates, fatigue, the body no longer has time to recover because we no longer give it the necessary time.

Everyone says that health is the most beautiful gift that nature has endowed us with, but unfortunately, it is also the worst guarded, which is why it is so easily lost. We want to be healthy, live long (some think they are immortal), and live well.

"Codru-i frate cu românul" - is a well-known sentence that we all know from Romanian folklore.

It is true that people have lived for millions of years in the community with nature, with its fauna, with its vegetation and it is normal for them to extract what they need to live, to dress, to feed, and to live in nature.

And also by nature, he takes what is necessary to resist diseases and to defend, preserve, and strengthen his health

Unfortunately, people have strayed from nature and the observance of natural or divine laws.

Many contemporaries believe that health is just the absence of symptoms or any state of illness. "Nothing hurts, it means I'm healthy!" This way of thinking is wrong.

In addition to the lack of disease states, it is imperative that the functions of our body be in a state of balance, that the vital energies be harmonious, as well as the mental and soul ones.

Even if we do not suffer from a certain disease, if our soul is not reconciled with a certain state of affairs, we are restless, we have thoughts that do not give us peace, this in time will turn into disease.

Being healthy means having the ability to carry out all the activities in which you are employed in good conditions, to be able to be useful both to you and to your peers. The higher the degree of vitality of a person, the higher the level of health

The vitality of the body is given by the energy that the body has at a given time.

Health is an important socio-human value and resource, which must be protected by both doctors and specialists belonging to various fields of social sciences.

The disease is not only a problem of human biology, but also an important social problem-dependent, on the one hand, on the factors and conditions of the social environment, and, on the other hand, on behaviors, norms, social values, habits, habits and the lifestyles practiced by a certain population and its component groups.

Health is a high social ideal towards which the combined efforts of all peoples are directed. Summarizing the content of this ideal in a form accessible and common to different nations and peoples.

“To enjoy the highest possible standard of Health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being, regardless of race, religion, political beliefs, economic and social conditions.

The health of all peoples is fundamental to the achievement of peace and security and is dependent on full cooperation between individuals and states… ”, so health is a good and a fundamental human right.

Maintaining good health is a prerequisite for the sustainable development of any nation.

To the extent that health is a social value with invaluable resources for the community, the need to preserve and promote it among members of society should be of concern to all those who are interested in the well-being of society.

The health of human groups is a synthesis of individual groups. Health is the great wealth of the world.

The right to health of the individual and of the human community is a component of the ethics of the whole society, determining its degree of functioning under the principle of equity.

Health is, on the one hand, a quality of life, and, on the other hand, it is a measure of the quality of life.

It is strange to see how everyone is increasingly concerned about health as a primary value of the vast majority of the population, but they do very little to prevent disease.

We smoke even though we know it is not healthy, we overeat even though the extra pounds lead to illness.

we prefer to relax in front of the TV although outdoor physical activity would help us a lot in the optimal functioning of the body, the market is invaded by foods full of additives, preservatives although everyone knows they are not healthy.

Industries are increasingly polluting the environment although it is our home, consumerism, as an effect of globalization, has become a new direction although we know it does not lead to anything good.

As observed, health as a social value is inextricably linked to other values such as spirituality, responsibility, truth, goodness, beauty, justice, freedom, etc.

But I strongly believe that without health you cannot enjoy anything. And anyone who has had at least the flu or severe pain in the masses can realize this. What about those who have serious illnesses? ...

To the question: "What was the happiest day of your life?" a friend's response was: "The day I started walking" - I mention that she broke her tibia and stayed in bed for three months, she had surgery.

All her achievements before and after have lost their importance in the face of the restoration of health.

Although all other values are important, without health they fade, leaving room for despair and pain ...

"Maintaining health is a moral and religious duty, health is the basis of all social virtues, and they can no longer be useful when we are not well."
